Local Store Teams with GIrl Scouts For Turkey Contest
Frackville - Local retailer, Mustard Seed Mercantile will team up with Girl Scouts in Heart PA – Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Troop #31806, Hegins, to host The 2014 Talented Turkey Contest from October 29th to November 22, 2014. Any local school-aged children are eligible to submit their version of a turkey using any creative medium they choose including paper, paint, clay, foam, or other materials. Turkeys will be on display through November 22, 2014 at the Mustard Seed Mercantile’s Schuylkill Mall location near Sear’s.
Hometown Man Dies in Crash in Rush Township.
The victim of the fatal crash on Route 309 has been identified. The man who died in the crash was Raymond J. Poreca, 76, of Hometown.
