Yuengling Ice Cream Donating 50% of Their Bloomsburg Fair Proceeds to Make-A-Wish

Orwigsburg, PA (September 25, 2015) − Yuengling’s Ice Cream, an American-owned super-premium ice cream brand, announced that it will donate 50 percent of all proceeds from its sales at the Bloomsburg Fair to Make-A-Wish.

Frackville Man Facing Assault Charges

On Thursday, Frackville Borough Police along with a Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Nicholas Evely of Frackville.

Evely was arrested after he was stopped during the investigation of another incident, as he matched the description of the suspect.

During the encounter it was found that Evely was intoxicated. After being informed that he was under arrest Evely attempted to strike an Officer and resisted efforts to take him into custody. 

Evely was charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, Escape, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Drunkenness, and Underage Drinking. Evely was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post bail.

DAUPHIN COUNTY: All Lanes of Interstate 81 in Dauphin County Near Hershey Closed Friday Afternoon

Two multi-vehicle accidents have closed Interstate 81 in Dauphin County Friday afternoon.


The two accidents occured between exit 72 (Paxtonia) and exit 77 (Hershey) within an hour of one another.

UPDATE:  4:00pm - all lanes have opened but traffic is still reportedly to be moving slow

No other details are available at this time.
