The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville have released information on several recent retail thefts at the Hometown Walmart.

On Friday, November 19th, 2021, around 6:20pm, State Police responded to the Hometown Walmart for a report of retail theft.
During the incident, an unidentified female was observed altering price tags in the apparel section.
When store employees approached the woman, she fled the store and left the parking lot in a white box truck with a thin red stripe across most of the driver's side with the number 19 in the upper right hand corner of the truck.
The suspect was described as a white female, approximately 40 years old, 5'5" tall with glasses, brown shoulder length hair, wearing flowered leggings, black boots, and a black jacket.

On Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, Matthew Creveling, 33, of Lansford was observed by Store Asset Protection of the Hometown Walmart concealing items.
As Creveling attempted to the leave the store without paying for the items, he was detained and police were called.
Creveling was charged with one felony county of retail theft and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $10,000 cash bail. On November 16th, 2021, he posted bail and was released.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 4th, 2022.

On Sunday, November 21st, 2021, around 8:30pm, the Hometown Walmart Store Asset Protection observed Bolivary Paulino Marrero, 19, of Hazleton concealing merchandise in a bag he was carrying.
As Marrero attempted to leave the store without paying, he was detained and police were called.
State Police charged Marrero with a summary offense of retail theft.

Two more students were reportedly expelled from Tamaqua Area School District as a result of an incident earlier this month.
Local and State Police are investigating several reports of a suspicious vehicle on the Burma Road this past weekend.
