Santa Spreads Joy During Festive Tour of Fountain Springs Area

Santa Claus continued his tour of Schuylkill County on Saturday, making a special stop in the Fountain Springs area. Accompanied by the dedicated members of the Englewood fire companies, Mrs. Claus, and two of his elves, he embarked on a journey through the township aboard a fire truck, spreading joy and laughter to children and families.

The trip was originally scheduled for Sunday evening but was bumped up to Saturday afternoon due to the weather forecast.

Santa took on the role of a modern-day sleigh rider, perched atop the fire truck. With a sack full of treats, the jolly old elf distributed candy to excited children who waited outside their home along the route.

As always, Santa took time to stop at the Gaudenzia House to interact with children, sharing smiles and learning what they wanted for Christmas.

Santa's journey took him through Fountain Springs, Creswell Gardens, Malones Road, Country Club Road, and Germanville Road.
