Update: Skeletal Remains Found Near Coaldale

In an update from our story last night about human remains being found near Coaldale, TamaquaArea.com has updated that the remains were skeletal.

Police are to be at the scene Sunday to continue their investigation.

The remains were found approximately a quarter-mile south of the Seek section of the borough.

Almost 400 Homes Without Power in Western Schuylkill County

According to PPL almost 400 PPL customers are without power at this time in Hegins Twp. and Porter Township.

No word on how long it will take until the power is restored.

Facebook went down for approximately 15 minutes Wednesday sending social media into a panic.

Twitter and other social media outlet users began using the hashtag #FacebookDown during the outage.
 
The outage last from approximately 3:45pm until 4:00pm.

This will be Facebook's third outage of the summer.
